Messy Church on Fridays starts after school from 3.30pm onwards and finishes at 5pm.

At the Easter Messy Church we welcomed 24 young people and many parents to ‘get messy’ and to learn about Jesus from further stories from the Bible. This time it was Christ’s journey to the Cross. The children undertook several activities to do this including making a 3D cross each, the Holy Week wheel, colouring and painting a large piece of paper, which when the sticky tapes were taken off represented a cross and a very messy planting of an Easter Garden, depicting the Cross – see picture of one we did earlier! Each child took one of these home, to watch the grass grow and to remind everyone of Christ’s sacrifice for us.
