The Clergy

The Reverend Marion de Quidt is the Priest-in-Charge for the Whitewater Benefice.  Marion has been in Whitewater for over three years, and loves our team ministry in the Benefice. She is also Area Dean of Odiham Deanery, and enthusiastic about nurturing vocations and training. Marion trained as a scientist, and worked in the Pharmaceutical industry.  A sermon about compassion of God, triggered a renewed search for the Lord's direction and lead to ordination training at STETS in Sarum College, Salisbury.  Marion lives with husband Simon in Hook Rectory. Her weekly day off is Tuesday.

Although the Rev Peter Hewlett-Smith is now retired, he continues to be part of the team, for which we are so grateful. Peter joined the Army in 1957 and is a graduate of the Army Staff College and the National Defence College. He retired from the Army in 1993 in the rank of Colonel when Deputy Provost Marshal (Army), and continued to be a chaplain to the guards. While Peter is retired he has Permission to Officiate (PTO) and has been a continuous and devoted member of the ministry team since 2001.

Mark The Reverend Mark Lewis has completed 2 years of his curacy in Whitewater.  He has now returned to his home parish of St Peter's, Yateley, and will join us for special events.  Thank you Mark, for all that you have brought to us.
