Lent 2020

During Lent we will be using What's so Amazing about Grace by Philip Yancey (ISBN: 0-310-21862-4) in our study groups.   Our Lent studies explore the core teaching of the Christian Church and its practical outworking: “grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.” John 1.  What does grace mean to you?  What does a lack of grace mean to you?

We have 2 book group style discussions in Lent: Sunday 8th March and Sunday 29th March at 4:30pm to 6pm in St John’s Church, Hook, come to share your thoughts on the book.

If you do not already come to one of our small groups, perhaps this Lent, you could joing us at one of our groups to explore grace.  There are a number of groups meeting, including our Sunday afternoon Building Blocks for Faith group, which meet on 1st & 3rd Sunday at St John's.  Other groups meet at a variety of days/times and locations, some every week, some a couple of times a month.  If you would like to know more, please ask in the Benefice Office for more details.
