    Much fun was had at our holiday club, exploring God through science. We had 35 children join us for one or other of the days or for both days. Look out for our next holiday club or come along to our monthly Messy Church for more fun.

    The Collation & licensing of Rev'd Dominic Thornton as Rector by Bishop Kelly, Bishop of Basingstoke.

    A few photos to get the flavour of the evening, it was a very joyful service. The church was full of people, and the flowers included jam jars of flowers from the church family in both Hook and HMR.

    Our children's groups are very creative, and at the end of services the children often share their artwork. Here are a few we have photographed.

  • Whitewater CofE School Colouring Competition (14 photos)

    Whitewater School has an annual colouring competition, and one of the images becomes the HMR Christmas Card. This year's winner was Maggie from Fox's class. But there were some stunning pictures, so we are showing them here. Well done to you all, there are some fabulous pictures.

    Bishop Philip was in Hook to confirm Lydia, Caroline, Ava, Jacob, Sevda, Mickey, Joshua, Hannah & Teri in December 2025, we pray for them and welcome them into the church family.

  • St John's Garden (96 photos)

    We have big plans for the gardens at St John's - and are aming to have areas for flowers, and areas for wild life (invertebrates, pollinators, hedehogs etc). We are aiming, weather permitting to have regular gardening time on a wednesday, and will have a list of jobs which need to be done etc. If you would like to join us, by dropiing in on a regular basis or just coming along on an ad hoc basis. Even if you are not a gardener, there will be ways to get involved. Talk to Fran for details.
