Christingle is a joyful celebration that brings families and communities together to share the light of Jesus and spread a message of hope.
Christingle celebrations are named after the Christingles that are lit during the ceremony. Christingles are oranges wrapped in red tape, decorated with dried fruit or sweets, with a candle on the top - come along to one of the Christingles and you can find out about the Christingle, what it means and take one home.
There is a Christingle in Hook at 10am on 30th November, which is during our Advent Sunday All Age Service. This is a family friendly event, in which children will make their own Christingles, possibly with some assistance!
Christingle is a lot of fun, but it is also raising money and awareness for The Children's Society - you can read more here.
